The first train pick-up ceremony of Wenzhou S2 Line was successfully held.

On the morning of July 25th, 2022, the first train arrival and pick-up ceremony of Wenzhou S2 Line EMU was successfully held, which also marked another important step for the opening of S2 Line and laid a solid foundation for the follow-up comprehensive joint debugging work.

At present, the main line bridge has been completed, and nearly 90% of the entire track has been laid, and the city EMUs have been tested and run-in. S2 line construction has entered the sprint stage in an all-round way.

The first phase of the S2 line starts from Leqingqing East Road Station and ends at Ruian Dongshan Station, with a total length of 63.63 kilometers and 20 stations. It is an important part of constructing the "Railway Network around Daluoshan", which is of great significance for opening the urban framework of Wenzhou, promoting the primacy of the central city and building Wenzhou metropolitan area. Among them, the S2 line SG2 is laid along the main road of Yueqing city center, with a total length of 6.9 kilometers, covering two stations, namely Qingdong Road Station and Xuyang Road Station, pier columns, beams and other structural works.

Huaqi Company provides vehicle-mounted PIS system for Wenzhou S2 project, which is the second city line that Huaqi serves Wenzhou after Wenzhou S1 line.
